The Football Pitch.


The football pitch can have a huge affect on how players and teams perform. If the pitch is wet the ball is going to travel quicker and there will be more late challenges along with players slipping.

As You can see from the picture I have attached above football pitches have to be kept in pristine condition to allow football players to play to their best ability. The grass should be cut between 25-30mm for the best quality.
 The best pitches aim for about 20 cuts per year. The white lines are painted on around the outline of the pitch along with the centre circle, halfway line and the boxes. Football goals need to be checked weekly to make sure they are still working to the best of their ability.
